AUTHENTIC MOMENTS
NATURAL, UNOBSTRUSIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
Man, I do love to capture people being people like some sort of photography ninja. There's just something about images that show real moments and truly authentic emotion whether it's a parent wiping away a tear or a long warm hug from the granny to some mental drunk cutting mad shapes on the dancefloor!
I love being there for it all which is why it covers the majority of the photographs that I take on the day.
Call it natural, candid, documentary or reportage, it will typically contain the photos that you look back on in 20 years with the most raw emotion...or the belliest of laughs! (I may have made up a word there!)
If there's one thing that really changed how I approach these types of images it was upgrading my cameras to enable completely silent shooting during those intimate moments.
